Loksabha Elections 2014 : youth's voice

The general elections are over and the Modi Wave wiped out everyone. NDA got a clear majority (336 seats out of 543) and Mr Modi set to become the next prime minister of India.

The youth wants to just remind Modi Ji the 14 problems and their solutions they showed him when he was the guest of honor at the MANTHAN grand finale.

The youth wants him to keep all of these problems and situations in mind and hopes he will soon address the nation regarding all of them.

A mothers day feeling

The one who nourished me
the one who caressed me
the one who senses the heartbeats of her child
the one who never let go of me
out of her sight
is you mother

with love so tender
and heart so pure
you beheld all the worldly troubles
I barely got them to know

I slipped,
you held my hand
I fell,
you dusted me
and helped me stand
I bled,
you bandaged me
and fed all the medicines
I wept,
you hugged me
and said there's no such thing as pain...

Now I am strong
Now I am wise
Now I am independent
but I will always be your little child
your little child
your little child...

Happy Mothers Day

The ever present fear

A horrifying encounter which I got to witness with my bare eyes. It was shaking and embarrassing at the same time. A thing one must forget but I will keep it in my mind for all of my life.

The females are portrayed as goddesses in our civilized culture and they being treated as a "thing" rather than a human is a blot on our culture.

The incident was such that two females were walking at the side of the road and out of the dark came three boys on a bike and one of them hit the girl at the unmentionables. The boys ran off and disappeared in a flash. And the female was left to mourn over her wounds and the attack on her plight. More horrifying was the reaction of the people around. They mocked and questioned them for roaming out at 8 at night. Really people we salute you. Salute you for being so narrow minded, salute you for allowing such weeds to spread and specially salute the two police officials on bikes who just stood fifty metres away and did nothing, salute you all.

I'm afraid that my loved ones cannot go out at such time as they also possess the same fear of being attacked.

A civilized educated society we are I guess that's a big misnomer. Each one of us should teach our younger generations to respect women as they are the ones who bring us to life, nourish us and make us the person we are and will be.

Stay safe, stay alert and respect women everyone.

#Vote4Children

It sends chills down my spine thinking about the dire condition of our nation. The children are smiling serving us our needs but our hearts just seem to care about our own stomach.

The future of our nation was right in front of me serving me and I was just helpless. The most that I could do at that instant was just give the boy an extra 5 rupee note for the future that he was selling wishfully with his bare hands.
Surviving has become such a difficult thing in our nation that now children are bartering their childhood with one day's bread.

Don't know who is responsible for this situation maybe me, you, government or all of us. It is a result which is prospering because of all of us.

A helping hand, a careful government, a voice of guidance and a moment of opportunity can only make any difference and save our smiles from fading all over the nation.
