#TellYourStory

“How Microsoft has impacted your life and how you plan to bring a change to the society being a Microsoft Student Associate?”

My story Microsoft is a synonym for advanced technology and excellence. It bridged the gap between the real and the virtual world by providing software solutions as per the human needs. The most enthralling product by Microsoft has been the Windows operating system. The perfect and easy to use graphical user interface.

Microsoft is now a part of my every friend and family member's life and with them it sure do leave a great essence on me as well. Not only today or in future it will be a part of my life but it has been my buddy since the day I first got acknowledged with a computer.

Contribution I plan on for the society

  1. I specially plan on targeting the females of the society. They are the backbone of every house and in many cases they are not allowed to go out of the homes to pursue their dreams.
I would go on setting up a firm helping and teaching such females about technology, development and help them provide software solutions right from home.
  2. Spread the word about the latest upcoming technology in my campus and urge more and more people to go for Microsoft certifications.
  3. Carry out workshops at my college and in colleges of my friend circle.
  4. I aim at providing new age of developers who can provide software solutions and cut down the gap between the real and virtual world.
  5. Will carry out some seminars at my school and enlighten the next generation stepping in this rapidly changing age of technology.

Spread more light and knowledge. Be the change you can be !

Autism

AUTISM

According to CDC, autistic people are a group of people with developmental disabilities characterised by impairments in social interaction and communication and by restricted, repetitive, and stereotyped patterns of behaviour. The disease is found to be four times more prevalent in males than females.
Autism is one of the most ignored diseases. Instead of helping the patient to get cured he/she is treated as mentally retarded, which is again the most unfortunate blot on the 21st century society. These special people need love and care like every other being as they are equal in every respect

Few facts about autism :

  • Lack of basic equipment and improper diagnosis of autism
  • India is home to about 10 million people with autism
  • First signs usually appear before a child is three years old
  • Early detection of this incurable disease can help a child lead his full potential
  • Drugs taken by the mother during pregnancy exposes the child to this disability
  • These children usually face discrimination and disparity by school authorities and even students
  • Teachers are not confident enough of teaching them
  • These children need trained therapists and educators
  • There have been stray cases of private airlines offloading passengers with autism
  • People suffering from autism may be slow learners but as Albert Einstein has proven, they do have brilliant minds
  • Diagnosis gets delayed as doctors treat it as mental retardation or schizophrenia or blame bad parenting
  • Therapy can open new neural pathways of learning
  • Has been reversed on animals in labs
